Stephen Miller Spoke in the Spirit of the Dragon and Christians Applauded

The White House Deputy chief of staff's remarks at the Charlie Kirk memorial painted his political opponents as empty, evil, and worthless.

Stephen Miller, President Donald Trump’s righthand man, declared holy war during his speech at the Charlie Kirk memorial on Sunday, September 21. Wrapping his fiery rhetoric in religious garb, Miller painted his political opponents as empty, evil, and worthless, while claiming he and his allies stand with God.

“You have no idea the dragon you have awakened,” declared Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy and U.S. Homeland Security advisor.

It was a strange and revealing choice of words. In the patriarchal, white supremacist West that Miller ahistorically glorifies in his speech, the dragon represents nothing good. In fact, in the Jewish and Christian scriptures Miller alludes to, the dragon is evil, the explicit enemy of God, His Messiah, and His people.

The Bible identifies the dragon with sinful pride (1 Timothy 3:6) and makes it synonymous with Satan (Revelation 12:8-10), whom Jesus calls the “father of lies and a murderer” (John 8:42-44). This dragon is the “god of this world” who leads humanity astray (2 Corinthians 4:4; Isaiah 14:12-17). Yet, this is the very force Miller claims his opponents have unleashed — a demonic power he apparently welcomes to fuel his crusade to save his version of “civilization.” In Miller’s upside-down world of what is “good,” the devil is embraced as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

The Bible teaches that the true battle is not against other humans, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6). Miller, however, aims his fury directly at fellow Americans.

“You are wickedness. You are jealousy. You are envy. You are hatred. You are nothing. You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. You can create nothing,” he asserted in his six-minute speech at his dead friend’s memorial.

This is the language of dehumanization, and it comes from the chief architect of the current mass de-migration terror unfolding across the U.S. As an unapologetic white nationalist, who apparently has a fascination with Nazi Germany, Stephen Miller has built a career on exacting cruelty on his perceived enemies — from separating families at the border to dismantling the asylum process. His only interests are power, vengeance, and domination, and he paints anyone who opposes Trump’s agenda as worthless and an enemy of American progress.

At the memorial, Miller didn’t appear by any measure to be mourning a fried. Instead, the agenda was to exploit a tragedy to further divide Americans and inflame tensions, all while cloaking his machination in divine language. And disturbingly, he implied that critics are to blame for Kirk’s death. Never mind that the alleged killer was a lone individual with no known political affiliation.

Notably, Kirk’s widow expressly forgave her late husband’s killer at the memorial. “The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love — love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us,” Erika Kirk said, expressing the spirit of the Lamb. In contrast, Trump stood beside her and declared, “I hate my opponents and I don’t want the best for them... I can’t stand my opponents.”

Then came Stephen Miller, Trump’s “brain,” pulling up with a remarkably arrogant speech reflective more of the dragon’s inspiration than that of the reconciling and edifying spirit of the Lamb.

Miller, adept in the art of gaslighting and cultivating white grievances, claimed that everything good and holy was on his side, that he and his allies were on “the side of God.” But God does not subscribe to political parties. He does not side with oppressors. God tells His followers “to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly” (Micah 6:8). To claim a divine monopoly on goodness while preaching hatred is to lie in God’s face.

Miller’s divisive, dehumanizing, and duplicitous remarks reflect the nature of the dragon he says has been awakened to fuel his fight, not the Lamb who is the light of the world. In the Book of Revelation, the dragon is defeated by the Lamb, who promotes truth, grace, repentance, and restoration. The dragon is all anger and deception. One builds peace; the other wages endless war.

Miller chose the dragon and spoke in its spirit, and a stadium full of professed Christians, wearing their Sunday best, applauded.

Stephen Miller’s Speech at the Charlie Kirk Memorial (September 21, 2025)

A Call to Finish Kirk’s Mission

Hello, Turning Point. Hello, Patriots. Hello to our fearless president, Donald J. Trump. And hello to millions of Americans all across this land who are gathered in sadness and sorrow to mourn Charlie Kirk, but also to dedicate ourselves to finishing his mission and achieving victory in his name.

The day that Charlie died, the angels wept, but those tears have been turned into fire in our hearts. And that fire burns with a righteous fury that our enemies cannot comprehend or understand.

We Are the Storm

When I see Erica and her strength and her courage, I’m reminded of a famous expression: The storm whispers to the warrior that you cannot withstand my strength. And the warrior whispers back, “I am the storm.”

Erica is the storm. We are the storm. And our enemies cannot comprehend our strength, our determination, our resolve, our passion.

Our lineage and our legacy hails back to Athens, to Rome, to Philadelphia, to Monticello. Our ancestors built the cities. They produced the art and architecture. They built the industry. Erica stands on the shoulders of thousands of years of warriors, of women who raised up families, raised up cities, raised up industry, raised up civilization, who pulled us out of the caves and the darkness into the light.

A Message to Our Enemies

The light will defeat the dark. We will prevail over the forces of wickedness and evil. They cannot imagine what they have awakened. They cannot conceive of the army that they have arisen in all of us, because we stand for what is good, what is virtuous, what is noble.

And to those trying to incite violence against us, those trying to foment hatred against us, what do you have? You have nothing. You are nothing. You are wickedness. You are jealousy. You are envy. You are hatred. You are nothing. You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. You can create nothing.

We are the ones who build. We are the ones who create. We are the ones who lift up humanity.

You Have Made Kirk Immortal

You thought you could kill Charlie Kirk? You have made him immortal. You have immortalized Charlie Kirk. And now millions will carry on his legacy. And we will devote the rest of our lives to finishing the causes for which Charlie gave his last measure of devotion.

You cannot defeat us, you cannot slow us, you cannot stop us, you cannot deter us. We will carry Charlie and Erica in our heart every single day and fight that much harder because of what you did to us. You have no idea the dragon you have awakened. You have no idea how determined we will be to save this civilization, to save the West, to save this republic. Because our children are strong, and our grandchildren will be strong, and our children’s children’s children will be strong. And what will you leave behind? Nothing. Nothing.

To our enemies, you have nothing to give, you have nothing to offer, you have nothing to share but bitterness. We have beauty, we have light, we have goodness, we have determination, we have vision, we have strength. We built the world that we inhabit now, generation by generation. And we will defend this world. We will defend goodness. We will defend light. We will defend virtue. You cannot terrify us. You cannot frighten us. You cannot threaten us. Because we are on the side of goodness. We are on the side of God.

A Promise to Charlie Kirk

And to my friend Charlie, to my brother Charlie, I know you are looking at us right now. I know you’re watching Erica right now. I know you’re watching your children right now. And I promise you, my friend, I promise you, my brother, we will prove worthy of your sacrifice. We will prove worthy of your time on earth. We will make you proud. We will finish the job. We will defeat the forces of darkness and evil. And we will stand every day for what is true, what is beautiful, what is good. And we will achieve victory for our children, for our families, for our civilization, and for every patriot who stands with us.

God bless you. God bless Turning Point. God bless Erica. God bless the Kirk family. God bless our heroes. And God bless the United States of America.

Thank you.
